Hi, I’m Laurel — a strategic design leader with a knack for designing it all. From product flows to team culture to designing experiences that awaken curiosity, I bring clarity, momentum, and a creative spark to everything I touch.
I’ve been designing experiences long before I knew that’s what it was called.
From science fair displays to costume making to rearranging my toys for optimal “information architecture,” design had always been how I made sense of the world. My path to UX began in the first grade and took shape through years spent exploring theater, fine arts, science, technology, and the service industry — teaching me how to read the room, craft thoughtful experiences, and adapt with empathy and intention.
I’ve spent over 12 years designing digital products and experiences, and the last 5 leading high-performing design teams. I’ve worked across startups, agencies, and global enterprises — building systems, scaling operations, and guiding organizations through complex change. From launching AI-powered workflows to kickstarting research and accessibility programs, I help teams navigate ambiguity with structure, creativity, and a good sense of humor.
I believe great design leadership is equal parts clarity and curiosity — and I bring both to every team I join.
